The Faculty of Education Equity Committee, on behalf of Faculty of Education of the University of Ottawa, is considering establishing an Equity Policy for Education Graduate Students. Currently, there is an Equity Policy for the Bachelor of Education program but there is no existing policy for Education Graduate Students.The EGSA-AÉDÉ wants to discuss this issue with students, considering whether a policy could be beneficial and, if so, which equity issues would need to be addressed. Equity issues may include, but are not limited to, equal access, opportunities and special support services for Education Graduate Students from a variety of groups including visible minority students, international students, First Nations, Métis and Inuit students, LGBTQ+ students and students with exceptionalities or special needs. The following survey invites your views on the current status of equity issues and the development of an equity policy for Education Graduate Students at the University of Ottawa.
