Technology Has Affected Handicapping Methods and Research
We are Ronald Bartholomew and Chelsea Moore, of the Equine Business Management program at Cazenovia College. We are both students in BU 473 and we are conducting a study on how technology has affected handicapping methods and research. We would appreciate your participation in this study, as it will help us to understand these important topics better.

Procedures
This study involves filling out a survey that will take approximately five minutes. We are collecting data from approximately 120 participants. We feel that this is best way to assess the information we are interested in collecting.

Risks and Benefits
There is minimal risk to participating in this study.
Confidentiality
Participation in this study is completely ANONYMOUS. You will not be able to be directly identified through this study and any publication of this data will be in aggregate form. Individual data will not be released to other agencies.

Freedom to Withdraw
Participation is completely voluntary. Decision not to participate will involve no penalty or loss of benefits. If you choose to withdraw we will destroy any information collected from you.
