Informed Consent
You are invited to participate in a research study "Art over Architecture and Architecture over Art in museum design" conducted by Robin Wagner (main investigator, faculty member) and Kinga Rusiniak (student investigator) from the Marymount University School of Arts & Sciences, 2807 N. Glebe Rd., Arlington, VA 22207, phone 703- 526-6819. This study hopes to learn the relationship between content and architecture in museum design. You were selected as a possible participant in this study because you are a member of a museum associated forum, or have been identified as recently visited a museum.
During the course of this study, the following will take place: participants of the study will fill out the online survey that starts on the next page. Then, results will be statistically analyzed to find the relationships between respondents' preferences in museum design. There are no identified risks associated with the study. The survey is completely anonymous and no personal information will be collected for participants. The results of the study will be posted on the internet forums and available to participants. However, I cannot guarantee that you personally will receive any benefits from this research.
Your participation is voluntary. If you decide to participate, you are free to withdraw your consent and discontinue participation at any time without penalty.
