This survey about online social networks is designed and created for a dissertation research by Kijung Lee , a doctoral student (under the guidance of Dr. Il-Yeol Song) at Drexel University in Philadelphia, USA. By participating in the survey, you are making contributions to understanding human behaviors in managing privacy on online social networks. There is no foreseeable risk in participating in the survey. However, if you have questions or concerns about the survey, please contact Kijung Lee at kl324@drexel.edu. Personally identifiable information will not be recorded or revealed in public in any way and collected data will be used solely for academic purposes.

The purpose of this survey is to understand how people feel about their privacy and how they manage it when they use online social networks, such as Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, or Google+. In the questionnaire, they will be generically termed as "online social networks" or "social networking websites".

This survey will take approximately 30-40 minutes to complete. As you go through the questions, please read instructions carefully as there will be definitions and examples of concepts for you to understand better.

The survey contains questions about your experience on online social networks. So if you don't have any experience of using such service it is not necessary for you to continue. If you do have experience, please continue.
