A Survey of Lessons Learned in Requirements Engineering

A lesson is an experience or event that serves as a warning or encouragement. This survey aims to get a better understanding of attitudes towards, and practical use of, lessons learned in Requirements Engineering (RE) in industry projects. Our ultimate goal is to produce a knowledge-base of lessons learned in RE. This is anticipated to help in assessing and improving existing RE processes and projects and, thus, software products, systems, and services.

We thank you in advance for considering to complete this survey. There are nine survey questions. It should take approximately 15 minutes. Your responses will be completely anonymous. No organization or individual will be identified whatsoever in our report.

If you would like to receive the aggregate results of the survey, please let us know by email (madhavji@gmail.com) and we would gladly send you the report, for free, when ready.

Cheers!
